BOAH NOVA sells directly to people who choose to live with what we make. We are equally open to distribution, architecture projects, and custom collaborations - because we design and produce every piece in-house, we can do the same for your space, your store, or your brand.
Scale, for us, was never the goal - attention was. Working with BOAH NOVA means working directly with the people who design and build every piece: no intermediaries, no lost-in-translation briefs, no minimum quantities that make smaller projects impractical.
Stockists & Distribution
We're open to bringing BOAH NOVA to concept stores, showrooms and design retailers beyond Portugal - with room to discuss territory, exclusivity and long-term partnership for the right spaces.
We're looking for stores and showrooms that choose what they carry as deliberately as we choose what we make - concept stores, design galleries, architecture and interior studios with a retail corner, boutique hotels with a shop, independent lighting and furniture retailers. If your space already carries brands built around craftsmanship, material honesty or sustainability, we'll probably understand each other quickly.
What you get
Because every piece is produced in-house, in small batches, we can start with modest quantities and grow the relationship as it proves itself - we don't expect new partners to commit to large quantities before either of us knows if the relationship is right. Partners also get access to our photography, product stories and press materials, and — for the right market or the right space — the option to discuss a period of territorial exclusivity, so you're not competing with your own supplier.

Architecture + Projects
We work directly with architects, interior designers, and hospitality studios on projects of any scale - with room to discuss custom finishes, dimensions, and quantities tailored to what your space actually calls for, straight from our workshop.
A lamp specified for a project has to answer questions a domestic purchase rarely faces: does it integrate cleanly into existing electrical plans, can it adapt to the physical constraints of a drawing set, and will it hold up years after handover? We built BOAH NOVA around those realities from the beginning, not as an afterthought for contract work.
Built for the project’s reality
Because design and production happen under the same roof in our studio, our catalogue is a starting point rather than a fixed set of possibilities. Selected finishes, cord drops and dimensions can be adjusted to suit the requirements of a project, while small-batch fabrication allows us to work with both smaller and larger quantities. Digital precision and hands-on production allow us to adapt a design without losing the character of the original piece.
Every piece uses standard E26/E27 fittings, avoiding proprietary LED systems so your spaces remain easy to wire, future-proof, and repairable rather than disposable. Above all, you have a direct line to the people actually designing and making the pieces, from technical queries to site delivery. For projects, we can provide the information needed for specification and planning, including dimensions, finishes, electrical details and project-specific adaptations. Where useful, we can also provide product samples, previews and additional technical information.

Bespoke and Private Label
Our catalogue is a starting point, not always the end point. Because we design and produce every piece ourselves, in our own workshop, we can also develop lighting that does not exist yet - whether as an exclusive piece for a specific space or, when appropriate, for a brand to produce under its own name.
A large manufacturer can offer you scale. What we offer instead is proximity: the same small team that designs a piece also builds it, which means development happens in direct conversation, not through a chain of intermediaries and long factory lead times.
Two ways to partner
The first is bespoke projects. For businesses looking for something genuinely specific, we can develop an exclusive lighting piece or composition around the requirements of the space. Form, dimensions, finishes and quantities can be developed together, from the initial brief through to a physical prototype and production.
The second is private label: we also work on selected private-label projects where our design and production capabilities can support another brand, retailer or hospitality group in developing lighting under its own brand. These collaborations are considered individually, with the scope, development process, exclusivity and production terms agreed around the project.
