SCAR-ID is our physical presence in the world: a store-gallery in Porto's Art District dedicated to contemporary Portuguese design. We chose this space because it shares our way of thinking: local production, attention to detail, a refusal of the disposable.

SCAR-ID was founded in 2013, in a former grocery in the Miguel Bombarda quarter, at the heart of Porto's Art District. Since then, it has become one of the reference spaces for those seeking design made in Portugal, by people working in Portugal.
The store-gallery brings together a careful selection of products, developed in close relationship with their creators. It's this closeness of outlook - between those who curate and those who make - that makes this partnership feel natural.
